Icy Debris

The long slab of ice in the center took many years to reach that size, as can be seen by the light and dark layers along its length. Here, the ice is in a state of transition, and I wouldn’t have been surprised if I were to find out that it had completely melted by the time our ship left the Glacier Bay.
